A One-Day Multidisciplinary National Seminar on Emerging Innovations and Contemporary Advances in Higher Education aims to create a platform to know the recent innovations in the field of Social Sciences, Commerce and Science among the Faculty, Research Scholars and Students. The seminar is aimed to fill the gap between academic and research activities undertaken by the faculty and students, specially designed to explore and enhance the research activities by acquiring the knowledge of recent advances by the keynote speeches. The main objectives are to enhance awareness among researchers, students and inventors about recent advances in Social Science, Commerce and Science; to explore the new innovations in these fields; to provide an opportunity to interact with Senior Professors; and to inspire young minds towards research. Government Degree College, Ramannapet is located in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District of Telangana in a peaceful natural environment. Established on 24-08-1994, it aims to provide higher education to students from poor and rural backgrounds. The campus has good infrastructure including science and computer laboratories, a virtual classroom, and a well-equipped library. Ramannapet itself is a mandal headquarters on the Deccan Plateau, well connected by road (NH-65) and rail to Hyderabad and other major cities.
